Kylie Jenner Inspired Makeup

Hey guys,

I hope that you're all well. I've been super busy with uni work recently but I've got as many hours in the day as Beyonce so no time for slacking. I'm here today with a tutorial inspired by Kylie Jenner/ 90's inspired makeup look. I hope that you enjoy.

Let's get started

First I applied my Baby Skin Pore Minimiser from Maybelline as my base to even out my skin and make it nice and silky smooth.

Since Kylie's face looks flawless and completely matte I opted for my L'Oreal True Match Foundation in Ivory to get the same kind of effect. I applied I pump of this blended it out with a flat top foundation brush and then added a bit my coverage to my cheeks to cover my acne scars by adding less than half a pump of the product on my face and focused on blending it on the 'imperfections' that were peaking through.

Then I applied my Catrice Camouflage Cream in Ivory under my eyes, around my nose and any small bits of redness to make my face look completely even.

Then I applied some eyeshadow base from Inglot to make my eyelids even, make the eyeshadows 'pop' and stay in place all day.

Then I just powdered my face with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent to matify my face and my makeup last.

Since Kylie has very strong featured I strongly contoured my face with the Ultra Bronze bronzer from Makeup Revolution... and I forgot to take a picture, sorry.

Then I applied the dark pink blush (bottom left corner) from the Makeup Revolution Blush&Contour Palette in Sugar and Spice. I didn't realise how pigmented it was so I applied a tad to much but I blended it out with a face brush and it looked  alright.
I also applied the highlighter (top right corner) from the same palette to the tops of my cheek bones  for that extra bit of glow.

Then I filled in my eyebrows. I made them a little more arched and higher up than I normally would do in order to mimic Kylie's look. I used my trust Eyebrow Shaping Kit in Dark from Makeup Revolution to do this.

Now it's time for the eyes. I used the Makeup Revolution Palette in Essential Mattes.

I used the lightest colour in the palette to prep my eyelids and highlight my browbone and make it appear as though my brows are a little bit more higher up.

Then I used the grey-brown shade in my crease to make it appear deeper and my bigger.

Then I applied the darker purple-y colour in the outer V of my eyes to make them look even deeper and more defined.

Then finish of the eyeshadow look I applied the light pink shade all over the lid.

Then I applied some eye brighting eyeliner into my waterline to make my eyes look bigger. The eyeliner that I used was a nude liner from Makeup Revolution.

To finish off the eyes completely I created a strong catflick with my Collection Felt Tip Liner in Black. Then I applied two thick coats of my FAVOURITE mascara, that is the NYC Big Bold mascara in Extra Black.

For my lips I chose a browny toned lipstick from Makeup Revolution in Treat. I picked this colour because 1. it screams 90's to me 2. it suits my skintone better than a pink based nude lip like Kylie wears.

Here's the finished look.

I hope you like this look and that you've enjoyed this post, I'll see you in my next one.

Mollie xx

GRWM

Hey guys,

I'm here today with something a little different. When I was getting ready for a small birthday celebration for a friend I thought " why not document this in a Get Ready With Me Post". Hopefully you'll enjoy.

Let's get started...

First it's shower time...

Products used : Imperial Lather Shower Gel, Garnier Pure Active Face Scrub, Simple Toner, The Body Shop Body Butter and Nivea day cream for oily skin.

Once clean and moisturised, it was time to sort out my hair.

I started off with brushing through it and applying dry shampoo to the roots.

Then I applied some curl enhancing mousse to my hair and wrapped my hair onto small plastic rollers to create no heat curls.

Then it was time for my favourite part... makeup.

I started off with creating a Flawless base.

Products used : L'Oreal True Match Foundation in N1, Catrice Camouflage Creme in Ivory and Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001 Transparent.

I then went onto contouring my face, using a creme blush and adding some glow.

Products used: L'Oreal Bronzer, Max Factor Miracle Touch Creme Blush in 007 Soft Candy and Makeup Revolution Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights.

Then I filled in my eyebrows and went onto my eye makeup.

I started off with softly defining my crease with a cool, grey/brown colour.

Then I began creating a cut crease with a matte, black eyeshadow. I started off by adding a bit off colour, blending it out and then adding more. Every new layer I blended and added less until the very crease was the blackest and the colour faded.

Then I added a gold eyeshadow all over the lid.

And then I applied eyeliner with a strong wing. Next I applied some fake lashes and that was my eyes done.

Products used : MAC Warm Neutrals Palette, Makeup Revolution Brow Kit in Dark, Collection Felttip Eyeliner in Black, NYC Big Bold Mascara in Extra Black.

FInally I applied some dark brown lipstick with gold shimmer from L'Oreal and layered it with a soft pink colour form Soap and Glory.

Products used: L'Oreal Lipstick in 362 and Soap and Glory Lipstick in Soft Pink.

Then I took out my rollers, brushed my hair and here's the outcome.

And this was my outfit of the night.

I hope that you enjoyed this post and I'll see you in my next one ;)
