New Handbag for Spring and Summer
Hey guys, I hope you've been doing well. I've been very busy with uni work over the past month and a half but especially the last week or so, hence no posts on my blog. Today however I'm coming to you with a review of a new handbag that I decided to get a a treat for myself for my hard work in the recent weeks.
I ordered this bag from a website called JustFab and everything on it (for subscribers) is £35 but the items tend to be worth more than that. They sell shoes, bags, jewelry and denim and they are a monthly subscription service and this is where my problem with them lies. Every month they will take £35 from your bank account if you are their subscriber and if you don't choose to 'skip the month' or forget to do it like I did. The money doesn't disappear, it goes towards store credit worth the amount that was taken. I would not have a problem with the subscription however I think the time period that is given to 'skip the month' is too narrow as it is only 5 days and they only email you the day before the last day to remind you. Other than that they provide a fantastic service as their products are a great quality (I have a pair of boots that I bought for the winter season and a bag that I got for my mum that I purchased from JustFab) and here is my newest addition.
This is the Legacy bag in the Mint color ( it's also available in Black, Tan and Poppy red). It's a medium sized bag i.e. big enough to fit a school notepad, pencil case, wallet etc but not big enough to use it as an overnight bag. It has beautiful gold hardware, and although I usually prefer silver I think in this case gold suits the bag perfectly. It has one big/main compartment which is secured by a zip and inside of it is a side pocket also with a zip and another compartment that is open. The bag also has two pockets side by side on the front which are big enough to put your phone in them, your keys or your make up. These pockets also zip up. The final compartment of the bag is its back pocket. It's big enough to hold your phone however it has no zip. I don't think I will use this pocket much due to the fear of my phone being stolen or losing it however if I'm in a rush and I need to put it away it could come in handy.
The bag seems well made, the zippers run smoothly and it looks like it's going to last. I think this will become my spring and summer staple as it will add a nice pop of color to any outfit. At the moment I am considering the purchase of mint converse (or shoes in that color inspired by them) to match the bag and to pair it with causal outfits. I'm leaving you with a few picks and I hope you enjoy. See you in my next post.
Mollie
