POLAND CLOTHING HAUL

Hey guys,

I'm back again with yet another haul, surprise, surprise. No, not really. Anyway, on the last day of my trip to Poland me and my boyfriend decided to go and spend the remaining currency that we had and just go crazy. And that's exactly what we did.

The first store we went to was Bershka. I was on a hunt for a pair of high waisted, dark wash pair of jeans. And that's exactly what I found there. I think they're very flattering on my butt (despite the unflattering picture, it's just hard to take a decent selfie with a bigass camara) and they're also mega, mega soft. They turned out to be comfy enough for me to travel back to the UK in them which was an over 11 hour journey and there were no regrets. I'd definitively recommend picking up a pair if you're looking for a good pair of high waisted jeans (they had a variety of colours so they don't have to be dark wash).

Price : 99,99 zl aka just under £20

The next store that we went to was called House. I ended up picking up 4 things from there. The first thing is the paisley printed t-shirt that you can see (not very well might I add) on the picture above. Although I'm more of a fan of graphic tee's or plain ones, this one spoke to me due to it's fantastic print and it's silky, soft texture.

Price: 44,99 zl aka just under £9

The next thing that I picked up from this store was this plain grey skater skirt. I loved it because it was longer than most skater skirts that I came across and I thought that it would make a very good staple in my wardrobe.

Price: 69,99 zl aka just under £14

The subsequent item that I bought was an impulse buy. My boyfriend was buying a lot of hats and I decided that I wanted one like his too and it was on sale, and it was cute, floral and girly so I got it. Hopefully I will get a courage to actually wear it and pull it off somehow.

Price: 19,99 zl aka just under £4

The last thing that I picked up from this store was a birthday present from me to me. It was this beautiful pair of doc martens lookalikes in white. I instantly fell in love with them and insisted on buying them with my birthday money. I wore them out today in the rain and horribleness of the British weather and they proved durable and extreme comforbale. Definitively my favourite purchase of the trip.

Price: 159,99 zl aka just under £32

The next store we went to proved to be extremely affordable and had I had a chance and no fed up boyfriend (he needed a break from shopping at this point) I probably would have bought a lot more. The store was called sin-say. My friends older sister turned out to be working there so shout out to her.

The first thing that I got from there was this super cute baseball style ( I think that's what they were going for) top. It says "I never make the same mistake twice" on the front, and then on the back it says "I make it 5 or 6 times just to be sure". I found that quite funny as it describes the story of my life.

Price: 29,99 zl aka just under £6

The next thing that I picked up also describes the story of my life at uni. It's a jumper that says "sorry I'm late". Since I'm forever late, I can point my teacher to my jumper and be like "it's right there on the package so it's to be expected". Haha, kidding. But seriously I'm forever running late so I picked it up.

Price: 39,99 zl aka just under £8

The last thing that I picked up from this store was a pair of shoes. Coincidently they also happened to be a lookalike of a certain brand, namely Vans. They're plain black however they stood out to me due to their snake skin texture which I thought made them a bit more interesting.

Price: 39,99 zl aka just under £8

The penultimate store that I picked up two things from was RESERVED. It was (to me) very similar in style to ZARA as it had more mature and elegant clothing as well as very youth orientated items. I got a piece from each section, what does that say about me ;)

The item from the more grown up section of the store was this zebra printed shirt. I thought that it was absolutely adorable and that it was a cute, youthful, girly twist to a sheer, elegant shirt.

Price: 59,99 zl aka just under £12

The next item was definitively aimed at a younger crowd. It was this hoodie-like dress. It's super causul and comfy but I think that paired with a black leather jacket and my doc lookalikes it will look very stylish for autumn.

Price: 99,99 zl aka just under £20

The last store we went to and picked up a show stealing number was NewYorker. The dress is clearly skin tight and it shows off my mid drift, and it's very far out of my comfort zone. However I feel really good (to my own amazement) in it and I do find it flattering. Yay for body confidence.

Price: 79, 99 zl aka jsut under £16

I hope you guys enjoyed this post :) I'll see you in my next one <3

Poland Beauty Haul

Hey guys,

I'm back from the continent and back on the island. I'm happy to be back but sad to have left. To keep my own spirits up I need to keep busy, busy, busy so be prepared for an abundance of posts. To kick things off, I'm going to show you the few beauty that I acquired on my trip. Enjoy.

To start off, I need to clue you in on the fact that I refreshed my ombre. I used the L'OREAL PARIS WILD OMBRE PREFERENCE  in the No1 Shade. That little event took a toll on the health of my already damaged hair. As the result of this I needed to condition it as much as possible to restore it (as much as I could) to it's previous state. Hence I picked this baby up on the recommendation of a friend. This product is made by the brand called L'biotica Biovax and it's an intensely regenerating mask for dry and damaged hair. After two uses I'm not completly convinced about how great (or not so great) it is. By comparison when | apply my Argan oil hair mask my hair feels silky soft when I'm rising the product off, whereas this does not give such effect. I'll give it a good run until it runs out and I'll let you know my full thoughts in an empties post or something.

The next two products I picked up were from the brand ZIAJA. It's a very affordable polish brand that makes skincare and body care  products that are of very high quality. The first product that I picked up was a cleansing paste for normal, oily and combination skin that's made with manuka leaves. The next thing was a moisturing cream for oily and combination skin made with white tea. My thoughts on these two products... they're absolutely fantastic!!! The paste cleared my skin almost completely and the cream made it unbelievably hydrated and soft  within a week. For once I feel like I have a radiant complexion. I love these products so much that I bought back ups of them just in case they run out and I had no way of coming by them after less then a week.  The one thing I have to say and this is because of what one of the shop ladies said, is that you're not supposed to use the paste on an everyday basis as it's deep cleaning and if used too much it could irritate your skin and dry it out. So now instead of using it everyday I'm gonna use it every other day or so and only once on that day. Yay to a new skincare routine haha.

The next few things that I picked up were makeup products from CATRICE. The fist one was a primer called PRIME AND FINE. It's supposed to be a pore refining and anti-shine base for a mattifying, long lasting, oil free effect. After about a week of use I think that it lives up to the promises. I would recommend it to those people who are looking for a good primer that is not silicone based.
The next product that I bought was a nude eye pencil. This product revolutionised my eye makeup look. It just get's rid of the redness that makes my eyes look tired and makes them look bigger and more awake. I think it holds up pretty well throughout the day like it promises to do on the packaging.

The last thing that I picked up from this brand was a concealer/ camouflage cream in 010 Ivory. It works great underneath the eyes and on spots and it's a great colour match and coverage.

The last items that I picked up as a birthday present from me to me from the brand INGLOT. This brand is a lot cheaper in Poland then elsewhere in the world as it is a polish brand so I decided to make the most of it by building my own pallete.

The colours I got were (in order from the top left corner going to the right ) :
110 - a shimmery champagne colour
407 - an orange colour with gold shimmer
445 - a shimmery light purple
446 - a shimmery dark purple
428 - a shimmery navy
351- a matte vanilla colour that's similar to my skin tone
118 - a shimmery gold
112 - a shimmery gold with a pink undertone
358 - a light, tope colour
378 - a dark matte brown with a slight purple undertone

All the colours are nicely pigmented and I think the palette is very versatile appropriate for daytime and nightime looks. I

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I did shopping for it. Hopefully you noticed that I'm using a nice quality camera now to take my pictures and that you can appreciate that. I'll see you in my next post xx
